Border Security
Dr. Bonnen is fighting to stop illegal crossings, crack down on human trafficking, build the wall, and fully fund Operation Lone Star. This year’s budget includes $6.5 billion to protect our border and back Texas law enforcement. He is standing with President Trump to take bold action where Washington has failed.
Property Tax Relief
Texans are demanding relief. Greg Bonnen helped deliver over $51 billion in property tax relief in the 89th Legislative Session, providing real breathing room for families and businesses, all without raising taxes or growing government. The Texas Constitution requires a balanced budget, and Dr. Bonnen ensures every dollar is spent wisely.
Education & Parental Rights
Greg Bonnen has fought to raise teacher pay, ban CRT and DEI, and stop the woke agenda in our schools. He believes parents, not bureaucrats, should have the final say in their child’s education. He helped pass the largest teacher pay raise in state history and supports educational freedom and curriculum transparency.
School Safety & Classroom Discipline
Dr. Bonnen authored legislation to dramatically increase school safety funding, raising per-student and per-campus allotments. He helped pass the Teacher Bill of Rights to restore order to the classroom, support Texas teachers, and ensure students can learn in a safe, focused environment.

Dr. Bonnen helped pass legislation banning gender modification procedures for minors and is standing strong to protect girls’ sports from radical gender ideology. Texas children deserve protection, fairness, and truth.

Dr. Bonnen supports stronger bail laws to keep violent offenders behind bars, has fought to increase law enforcement funding, and is cracking down on rogue DAs who refuse to prosecute criminals. He helped pass new laws targeting repeat violent offenders, supported pay raises for corrections officers, and backs Texas law enforcement every step of the way.
Women’s Health & Life Protections
Greg has a 100% pro-life voting record. He helped pass the Heartbeat Bill and Trigger Ban and has fought to end taxpayer funding of abortion providers. He also supported $469 million in new maternal health funding to protect both mothers and babies.

Foreign Threats
Dr. Bonnen helped pass comprehensive legislation to protect Texas from foreign adversaries like communist China. That includes banning the sale of Texas land to hostile governments, safeguarding our public institutions and research infrastructure, protecting genetic data from exploitation, and securing critical state systems from foreign infiltration.

Texas Windstorm Insurance
As a coastal representative, Dr. Bonnen works every session to stop unjustified rate hikes from the Texas Windstorm Insurance Association. He joins forces with fellow members of the coastal delegation to hold TWIA accountable and protect property owners across the Gulf Coast.
Mental Health
Greg helped secure $772 million for youth mental health crisis outreach, ensuring Texas students and families can access the care they need. This includes mobile teams that can provide support at home and in schools, bridging critical gaps in access and crisis prevention.
